About American Diversified Insurance Services, Inc
American Diversified Insurance Services, Inc is a family owned and operated Independent Insurance Agency. Our agency began in 1980, not as American Diversified but as Adams Insurance. The agency quickly grew to three small offices in the Sacramento area and gained multiple partnerships. In 1986 Adams Insurance was incorporated to American Diversified Insurance Services, Inc.
In 2006 American Diversified's offices merged with Vanderlip Insurance of Folsom, CA. Vanderlip Insurance had been established since 1978 and called Folsom home for several years. Vanderlip Insurance also had the same goal to grow and provide excellent products and service to the residents of California.
American Diversified and Vanderlip Insurance combined to become Vanderlip and Adams Insurance Agency. For the next ten years Vanderlip and Adams Insurance flourished. The agency remained solid in the promise of providing Folsom and surrounding areas, with exceptional products and service.
Throughout that time the agency still continued to conduct everyday business under its incorporated name of American Diversified Insurance Services, Inc. In 2016 Vanderlip and Adams Insurance Agency officially changed their name to American Diversified Insurance Services, Inc. In 2021 American Diversified moved the office from Folsom, CA to El Dorado Hills, CA where many of us call home.
My name is Reggie Adams and I was born and raised in Austin, Texas relocating to California in 1975 where I met and married my high school sweetheart Jackie. We have three grown daughters and son-in-laws and love spending time with our family. I am a Christ follower with a passion to serve others both locally and globally. I have over 35 years of Insurance experience serving the greater Sacramento area. I look forward to many more years serving others through our agency.
My name is Valerie Ouellette and I have been working for American Diversified since January of 2009. Every day I continue to learn quite a bit about the insurance industry and look forward to gaining more knowledge about the ever changing field. I have been voted one of the Sacramento Regions best Home and Auto Insurance Professionals every year since 2011. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications emphasizing in Public Relations and Journalism. As a Marketing Director I am able to use my talents and passions on a daily basis. I am very passionate about people and helping those in need of assistance. When I am not in the office I am spending time with my husband, son, four dogs going camping, boating and traveling and I love organizing and attending neighborhood and community events! I also love all things with Vanilla and Coffee and Vogue!
My name is Jessica Layfield, and I have been working for American Diversified in the insurance industry since 2006. I enjoy my job mainly because I like to help others. Whether you call in with a general question or with an issue that needs immediate attention, I welcome the chance to help you. As an agency I believe we work extremely well as a team, we are more of a family than coworkers. I love coming to work and seeing what the day has in store for all of us. When I’m not in the office you can find me spending time with my husband and two sons. We are always on the go with school, band, baseball, or karate. I also volunteer as a high school leader with my husband at our church, which has always been a passion of ours. I love to camp, read, and travel whenever possible.
My name is Miraya Garza. I joined American Diversified in February 2020. What I love about my job is the interaction I have with people. I am excited to learn more about the insurance industry and help our customers with their daily transactions. I graduated from William Jessup University in 2019 with a BA in Visual Arts concentrating in photography and a minor in Theology. In my spare time, I am a Junior High Youth leader and love to spend time connecting with my students. I am very involved in my church community and love being with my family and friends. I have an obsession with Boba Tea, Target, Instagram and puppies.
My name is Heather Waisner. I joined American Diversified in October 2020. I come from a background of claims, both personal and commercial, and have a Bachelors Degree in Business Finance. I've worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years with several insurance carriers, and now enjoy working on the agency side with American Diversified. When I am not in the office, I am keeping up with my husband and three sons and I'm an avid baseball fan.
